Duane A. Evans, U.S. Attorney | U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Louisiana
Curtis Williamson Jr., a 41-year-old resident of Houma, Louisiana, has pled guilty to federal drug charges. Acting United States Attorney Michael M. Simpson announced the plea on February 13, 2025, before Chief U.S. District Judge Nannette Jolivette Brown. Williamson admitted to possession with intent to distribute over 500 grams of methamphetamine, a violation of Title 21, United States Code Sections 841(a)(1) and 841(b)(1)(A). His sentencing is scheduled for May 22, 2025.
The indictment revealed that after receiving a complaint about Williamson's narcotics trafficking activities, law enforcement executed a search warrant at his residence. During the search, authorities found multiple kilograms of methamphetamine stored in large bags in his bedroom closet.
Acting United States Attorney Simpson commended the efforts of the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office in this case. Assistant United States Attorney Stuart Theriot from the Narcotics Unit is prosecuting the case.
