The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma has announced that Dewayne Tyree Miller, also known as Dejuan Tyree Miller, a 28-year-old resident of Muskogee, Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to possessing methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.
According to the indictment, on July 17, 2024, Miller knowingly possessed a substance containing methamphetamine, classified as a Schedule II controlled substance, with plans to distribute it. The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in conjunction with the Muskogee Police Department.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Jason A. Robertson accepted Miller's plea in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma and ordered a presentence investigation report. Until sentencing is determined, Miller will remain in custody under the supervision of the United States Marshals Service.
