Six individuals, previously deported from the United States, have been indicted for illegal reentry following an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The individuals are Cesar Antonio Geronimo-Morales, 34, and Calixto Gomez-Lopez, 42, both from Guatemala; Fermin Diaz, 37, from El Salvador; Lenar Donaldo Martinez-Garay, 32, and Lesman Yohan Lopez-Gamez, 33, both from Honduras; and Juan Jose Resendiz-Gonzalez, 47, from Mexico.

The indictment charges them with illegal reentry as previously deported aliens. If found guilty, each could face a maximum of two years in federal prison.

Court documents reveal that all six were discovered in Duval County without having obtained consent from the U.S. Attorney General or the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security to apply for readmission into the country.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Brenna Falzetta is prosecuting the case.
