Today, the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) announced that John Fogarty will assume the role of Chief Development Officer, succeeding Martin Gillespie. In his new position, Fogarty will focus on enhancing AFPI's investor relations and overall development strategy.
Fogarty brings over two decades of experience in development leadership from policy and advocacy organizations. He previously worked at the Faith and Freedom Coalition and spent nearly ten years as Vice President of Development at The Heritage Foundation, where he led a team that raised over $1 billion in funds.
Martin Gillespie, AFPI Executive Vice President, expressed enthusiasm about Fogarty's appointment: “It’s a special St. Patrick’s Day here at AFPI, as John Fogarty joins our senior leadership team as Chief Development Officer,” said Gillespie. He praised Fogarty for inspiring philanthropists to support conservative values and highlighted the qualities that define his approach to development.
Fogarty himself commented on his new role: "I am honored to join AFPI and work alongside such an exceptional team advancing the America First agenda." He looks forward to working with AFPI's donors and development team to sustain growth within the organization.
