Tracy Gulzow, a 56-year-old resident of Council Bluffs, Iowa, has been sentenced to 210 months in federal prison for possessing with intent to distribute over 500 grams of methamphetamine. The sentencing took place on March 20, 2025, in Omaha, Nebraska, presided over by United States District Judge Brian C. Buescher. Following her imprisonment, Gulzow will serve a five-year term of supervised release.

Gulzow was identified as part of a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) investigation targeting a Mexican-based methamphetamine trafficking organization. Initially recognized as a customer in March 2022, she later assumed the role of distributor by fall 2023. On January 24, 2023, during a traffic stop by the Omaha Police Department, nine pounds of meth were seized from her vehicle. Further admissions led law enforcement to her residence where they found an additional two pounds of methamphetamine, a firearm, and $19,563 from drug sales.

The case is part of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) operation aimed at dismantling high-level criminal organizations in the United States through coordinated efforts among various agencies.

This investigation involved the Drug Enforcement Administration along with the Omaha and Bellevue Police Departments.
