Tony Scott, Jr., 28, has been sentenced to 12.5 years in prison after pleading guilty to kidnapping a woman in Mobile, Alabama, in December 2019. According to court documents, Scott forced the victim at gunpoint to drive him across state lines into Georgia, where she managed to escape.

The announcement was made by U.S. Attorney Sean P. Costello of the Southern District of Alabama. The Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted the investigation into the case. Assistant U.S. Attorney Kasee S. Heisterhagen prosecuted on behalf of the United States.
