This week, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem is set to visit El Salvador, Colombia, and Mexico. The trip includes meetings with key government officials in each country.
On Wednesday, March 26th, Secretary Noem will be in El Salvador. She plans to tour the Terrorist Confinement Center CECOT alongside the Minister of Justice Gustavo Villatoro. Additionally, she is scheduled to meet with President Nayib Bukele.
The following day, Thursday, March 27th, Secretary Noem's itinerary takes her to Colombia. Her agenda includes meetings with Foreign Minister Laura Sarabia, Defense Minister Pedro Sanchez, National Police General Carlos Fernando Triana, and Migration Director Nigeria Renteria. A meeting with President Gustavo Petro is also planned.
Secretary Noem will conclude her trip on Friday, March 28th in Mexico. There she will meet with President Sheinbaum and Foreign Minister Juan Ramon De La Fuente.
