A Raleigh man, Linwood Davis, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for charges related to cocaine trafficking and possession of firearms. The investigation began in June 2023, when law enforcement identified Davis as a source of cocaine in Raleigh. Authorities discovered over 1,000 grams of cocaine, around $44,470 in cash, and two firearms with large capacity magazines in Davis's residence.
Davis's criminal history includes five felony drug convictions dating back to 2003, as well as two felony convictions for eluding arrest with a motor vehicle in 2003 and 2004.
