The White House has submitted a series of nominations to the Senate for confirmation. The list includes several key positions across various government departments and agencies. Among those nominated is Marc Andersen from Virginia, nominated to be an Assistant Secretary of the Army. Gregory Autry of Florida has been nominated as the Chief Financial Officer for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
Other nominees include Donald Bergin III of Virginia for Assistant Secretary of Veterans Affairs (Congressional and Legislative Affairs), and Marc Berkowitz, also from Virginia, who is nominated to be an Assistant Secretary of Defense. Jonathan Berry from Maryland is nominated for the position of Solicitor for the Department of Labor, with David Brian Castillo from Washington nominated as Chief Financial Officer for the same department.
Bart McKay Davis is nominated as United States Attorney for the District of Idaho, nominated for a four-year term. Anthony D’Esposito of New York is nominated as Inspector General for the Department of Labor. William Gillis and Jules Hurst III, both from Virginia, are nominated to be Assistant Secretaries of the Army.
Joseph Jewell from Indiana is nominated as an Assistant Secretary of Defense, and from Texas, Benjamin Kohlmann is nominated to be an Assistant Secretary of the Navy. Joyce Meyer of Virginia is nominated as Under Secretary of Commerce for Economic Affairs. Susan Monarez from Wisconsin is nominated as Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Ronald A. Parsons, Jr. from South Dakota is nominated as United States Attorney for the District of South Dakota for the term of four years. Other nominations include Andrew Rogers from Virginia as Administrator of the Wage and Hour Division, Department of Labor; Brendan Rogers of Connecticut as an Assistant Secretary of the Navy, and David Charles Waterman from Iowa as United States Attorney for the Southern District of Iowa for a four-year term.
