Robert Lee Glover, known as "Chopz," has entered a guilty plea in Huntington, West Virginia, to charges of fentanyl distribution. Glover admitted to selling approximately 14.6 grams of fentanyl for $1,000 to a confidential informant on June 10, 2024, at a residence on Mount Union Road. He also confessed to selling 18.27 grams of a mixture containing fentanyl and xylazine, commonly referred to as "tranq," to the same informant on June 27, 2024.
Glover's sentencing is scheduled for July 28, 2025. He could face up to 20 years in prison, a minimum of three years of supervised release, and a fine of $1 million. The plea and subsequent proceedings were managed by United States District Judge Robert C. Chambers.
Acting United States Attorney Lisa G. Johnston made the announcement, praising the investigative efforts of the FBI and the Cabell County Sheriff's Office. Assistant United States Attorney Joseph F. Adams is handling the prosecution of this case.
