A man from Doddridge, Arkansas, has been sentenced to 198 months in federal prison for distributing child pornography. The sentence will be followed by ten years of supervised release. Chief Judge Susan O. Hickey handed down the sentence at a hearing in the U.S. District Court located in Texarkana.
Court documents reveal Nathaniel Gareth Doggett, aged 22, utilized a social media platform to distribute child pornography to a minor. The crime came to the attention of authorities after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children submitted a CyberTip to the FBI. Upon being interviewed, Doggett admitted to the offense, which included downloading and distributing files involving pre-pubescent children.
Doggett was indicted by a Grand Jury in the Western District of Arkansas in June 2023. He pled guilty in August 2025. His conviction also requires him to register as a sex offender.
The case was announced by U.S. Attorney Clay Fowlkes of the Western District of Arkansas. The Federal Bureau of Investigation, along with the Miller County Sheriff’s Office, the El Dorado Police Department, and the Arkansas State Police, conducted the investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Devon Still and Graham Jones represented the prosecution in this matter.
