United States Attorney Clint Johnson has announced the latest set of indictments issued by the April Federal Grand Jury 2025-A. Multiple individuals have been charged with violations of federal law, including possession of firearms, drug-related offenses, illegal reentry, and child pornography. These charges carry a presumption of innocence until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
One of those indicted is Jesus Sebastian Herrera Chavez, a 21-year-old Mexican national, charged with unlawfully possessing a firearm and ammunition, and assault in Indian Country. "The ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Dallas Field Office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are the investigative agencies," and the case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Niko Boulieris.
Jimmie Leroy Cox, Jr. from Fairland faces charges of felon in possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and maintaining a drug-involved premises, among others. This case involves several investigative agencies, including the Drug Enforcement Administration and the FBI. Assistant U.S. Attorney Mandy Mackenzie will prosecute.
Victor Hubert Dominguez-Castro, 31, and Maria Gabriela Labrada Rico, 39, both Mexican nationals, along with several others, are facing charges of unlawful reentry into the United States after previous removal. The ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Dallas Field Office leads the investigations into these incidents. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Thomas Buscemi and Michele Hulgaard are handling these cases.
Leonard Ray Ellis, 40, of Inola, is charged with robbery and first-degree burglary in Indian Country, investigated by the FBI and Rogers County Sheriff’s Office, with Assistant U.S. Attorney Tyson McCoy prosecuting.
Ryan Leon French and Lexie Renee French, both from Tulsa, have been charged with production and possession of child pornography. Their case is under the jurisdiction of the FBI, with Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Dewhurst taking on the prosecution.
Robert Nicholas Long from Tulsa has been charged with attempted coercion and enticement of a minor, as well as receiving and distributing child pornography. This is being handled by Homeland Security Investigations and Assistant U.S. Attorney Shakema Onias.
Others named in the indictments include Oscar Najera-De La Cruz, Joshua Clay Murphy, and several individuals involved in crimes ranging from drug possession to threatening law enforcement officers.
These cases are prosecuted by various Assistant U.S. Attorneys and involve numerous investigative agencies, highlighting the scale and diversity of alleged criminal activities addressed by the Grand Jury's findings.
