Charles Adam Bradshaw, a resident of Adel, Iowa, has been sentenced to 18 years in federal prison for his involvement in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy. The sentencing, which took place on March 6, 2025, comes as a result of Bradshaw's actions in which he traveled to Omaha, Nebraska, to collect methamphetamine from suppliers linked to a Mexican-based source. These transactions were facilitated locally through couriers.
Court records reveal that Bradshaw, 41, committed this offense while on parole for previous convictions in 2021 related to eluding and methamphetamine possession in the Iowa District Court for Dallas County. Following his prison term, Bradshaw faces a five-year period of supervised release, as there is no parole option within the federal legal system.
United States Attorney Richard D. Westphal from the Southern District of Iowa announced the sentence. The investigation was conducted with the cooperation of the Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force, the Southwest Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force, and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
