Las Vegas man sentenced to nine years for meth trafficking conspiracy

A Las Vegas resident, Treshon Edwards, has been sentenced to nine years in prison and will be subject to three years of supervised release. The sentence was delivered by Chief United States District Judge Andrew P. Gordon. Edwards was convicted for his involvement in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy.

Court documents reveal that Edwards conspired to distribute methamphetamine between November 2022 and January 2023. On multiple occasions during this period, he distributed and attempted to sell substantial quantities of methamphetamine and fentanyl. Edwards was arrested on January 5, 2023, with six pounds of methamphetamine and various fentanyl pills in his vehicle.

Edwards entered a guilty plea to several charges, including conspiracy to distribute, distribution, and possession with the intent to distribute controlled substances.

The announcement of the sentencing came from United States Attorney Sigal Chattah for the District of Nevada and Deputy Special Agent in Charge Anthony Chrysanthis of the DEA Los Angeles Field Division. The investigation was carried out by the DEA, and the case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Joshua Brister.
