A Billings woman was sentenced to 60 months in prison on drug charges, U.S. Attorney Kurt Alme announced. Lynda Diane Good, Jr., 60, pleaded guilty in December 2024 to possession with the intent to distribute controlled substances. Following her time in prison, she will serve five years of supervised release. U.S. District Judge Susan Watters oversaw the proceedings.
Court documents revealed that on April 3, 2024, an undercover officer purchased four ounces of methamphetamine from Good at her residence. Subsequently, a search conducted on April 11, 2024, led to the recovery of 434 grams of methamphetamine and multiple firearms. Good admitted to possessing about one pound of methamphetamine and to selling it.
The case was handled by an Assistant U.S. Attorney, with the investigation conducted by the ATF, Billings Police Department, and Montana Division of Criminal Investigation. The proceedings were part of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) initiative, which focuses on disrupting and dismantling major criminal organizations.
