Brian Zenszer, a 44-year-old resident of Warminster, Pennsylvania, has pleaded guilty to charges related to child pornography. The announcement was made by United States Attorney David Metcalf. Zenszer appeared before United States District Court Judge Harvey Bartle III, where he pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.
The charges against Zenszer were initially filed in December of the previous year. In court, it was detailed that on July 21, 2024, Zenszer had distributed material showing a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Additionally, on November 6, 2024, he was found in possession of a Samsung cellular phone which contained images of minors, including prepubescent minors under the age of 12.
The investigation began following two CyberTips reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. These tips were related to two Kik messaging app accounts that uploaded files suspected to be child pornography, both of which were traced back to Zenszer.
Zenszer's sentencing is set for July 29. He could face a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison, with a mandatory minimum of five years.
This case is part of Project Safe Childhood, established by the Department of Justice in May 2006. The initiative focuses on addressing child sexual exploitation and abuse, coordinating resources from various levels of law enforcement to prosecute offenders and aid victims. Investigations were conducted by the FBI and the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, with prosecution being handled by Assistant United States Attorney Maureen McCartney.
