U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Field Operations, has announced the renovation of the Secure Electronic Network Inspection (SENTRI) Enrollment Center at the Laredo Port of Entry. This move is part of a broader effort to enhance customer service for trusted travelers.
Port Director Albert Flores of the Laredo Port of Entry commented on the development: “This renovation reflects CBP’s commitment to providing efficient and secure processing for SENTRI applicants and members. By enhancing our facilities, we’re improving the overall enrollment experience while ensuring the integrity of our trusted traveler programs.”
The SENTRI program offers expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers arriving in the United States. The primary advantage is reduced wait times at designated ports of entry.
Over its 18 years at the Laredo Port of Entry, the SENTRI Enrollment Center has facilitated candidates by reviewing applications, conducting interviews, verifying biometrics, and completing necessary application information.
The center operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., located at Juarez-Lincoln Bridge, 400 San Eduardo, Laredo, Texas, 78040. It can be contacted at (956) 523-7399.
