R&M Trading LLC, based in Lakewood, Washington, has announced a recall of its Instant Milk Tea powder products due to the presence of undeclared milk. The recall affects approximately 408 packages (each containing 1lb.) and 1624 packages (with three 1lb. packs per package) sold under the R&M Refresher brand.
The issue arises from the product's ingredients statement, which lists Whey and Caseinate in Non-Dairy Creamer ingredients but fails to specify milk. This oversight poses a risk for individuals with allergies or severe sensitivity to milk, potentially leading to serious or life-threatening reactions if consumed.
The affected products were available for purchase on Amazon between November 18, 2024, and May 7, 2025. So far, no illnesses related to this issue have been reported.
The recall was prompted by findings during an inspection by the U.S. FDA Office of Global Policy and Strategy in China. It was discovered that these products contained milk but did not disclose this information on their packaging.
Consumers who purchased these items are advised not to consume them and should return them to their place of purchase for a full refund. For further inquiries, consumers can reach out to the company at imars.yang@qq.com.
This recall is being conducted with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
