House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Chairman James Comer has called for transcribed interviews with President Joe Biden's physician and former White House aides. This is part of an investigation into alleged cover-ups of Biden’s mental decline and the potential unauthorized use of autopen for executive actions.

Comer stated, "The cover-up of President Biden’s obvious mental decline is a historic scandal. The American people deserve to know when this decline began, how far it progressed, and who was making critical decisions on his behalf." He emphasized the need to examine key executive actions signed by autopen, including sweeping pardons for what he termed as the "Biden Crime Family."

Previously, during the last Congress, Comer subpoenaed three White House aides—Annie Tomasini, Anthony Bernal, and Ashley Williams—and requested an interview with Dr. Kevin O’Connor, Biden’s physician. However, these efforts were blocked by the White House. Comer also sought audio recordings related to Special Counsel Robert Hur’s investigation into Biden’s handling of classified documents; Attorney General Merrick Garland did not comply with this subpoena.

According to a book titled "Original Sin," one insider claimed that “Five people were running the country, and Joe Biden was at best a senior member of the board.” Last week, Comer reiterated his commitment to continue investigating these matters.

The letters sent by Comer request testimony from Dr. Kevin O’Connor; Neera Tanden, former Director of the Domestic Policy Council; Anthony Bernal; Annie Tomasini; and Ashley Williams.
