ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has deported Felipe Nery Casco Murillo, a foreign fugitive wanted in Honduras for serious criminal charges. Casco was removed from the United States on May 16 and handed over to Honduran authorities.

Casco first came to the attention of U.S. immigration officials on May 13, 2023, when he applied for entry at the Hidalgo Port of Entry in Texas. At that time, U.S. Customs and Border Protection issued him a notice to appear and allowed him into the country pending further immigration proceedings.

On November 5, 2024, ICE's Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) learned that Casco was wanted in Honduras for rape and preparation for use of aggravated child pornography. He was subsequently arrested by ICE ERO on January 28, 2025. An immigration judge ordered his removal on April 17.

The public is encouraged to report information about foreign fugitives by contacting ICE through their tip line or online form.
