This action aligns with Executive Order 14191, which aims to expand educational freedom and opportunities for families. The review will be conducted under the guidance of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, focusing on assessing available resources and best practices within the department.
"The Department recognizes the vital role parents play in the education of their children and remains committed to providing military families with the flexibility and support necessary to choose the educational path that best meets their needs," said Chief Pentagon Spokesperson and Senior Advisor, Sean Parnell.
