Fort Worth man receives 50-year sentence for child pornography production

Leigha Simonton, United States Attorney, Northern District of Texas | U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Texas

A Fort Worth man has been sentenced to 50 years in federal prison for producing child pornography. Jamie Hackney, aged 36, pled guilty in February 2025 to charges of production and transportation of child pornography. He was sentenced on May 30, 2025, by United States District Judge Reed O’Connor.

Nancy Larson, Acting United States Attorney for the Northern District of Texas, announced the sentencing. The case stemmed from a Cybertip issued by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to the Fort Worth Police Department (FWPD) regarding images uploaded to Hackney’s Google account.

Investigations by FWPD revealed forensic evidence showing that Hackney used a minor to create and transport child pornography. The Federal Bureau of Investigation also participated in the investigation. Assistant United States Attorney Allyson Monte prosecuted the case.
