Secretary of State Marco Rubio held a meeting with Singaporean Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan to reinforce the strategic partnership between the United States and Singapore. During the meeting, they explored ways to enhance economic relations by strengthening trade and investment ties while supporting American businesses. The discussion also covered regional security challenges, counterproliferation efforts, as well as cooperation in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
The engagement highlights ongoing bilateral relations aimed at addressing shared concerns in the East Asian and Pacific regions.
