Darius Robertson, 32, and Antonio Hensley, 33, both residents of Washington, D.C., have entered guilty pleas to voluntary manslaughter charges in connection with the death of Andre Robertson in October 2021. The announcement was made by U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro alongside Chief Pamela Smith of the Metropolitan Police Department.

The case is being overseen by Superior Court Judge Todd E. Edelman, who has scheduled sentencing for September 19, 2025.

Court documents reveal that on October 1, 2021, near the intersection of 53rd Street NE and Clay Terrace NE, Darius Robertson initiated a physical confrontation by striking Andre Robertson in the face and head. This altercation led to both men falling to the ground and continuing their fight until they were separated by nearby individuals.

Subsequently, Antonio Hensley approached Andre Robertson during this separation and delivered blows to his head and neck area. This caused Andre Robertson to fall motionless on the ground. Despite this, Darius Robertson continued his assault on the victim's head while both defendants stood over him.

The injuries inflicted by both assailants resulted in Andre Robertson's death as documented in court records.

Darius Robertson was apprehended on December 17, 2021, followed by Antonio Hensley's arrest on February 23, 2022. Both individuals have been held in custody since their respective arrests.

The investigation into this case was conducted by the Metropolitan Police Department with former Assistant U.S. Attorney Greg Kimak and current Assistant U.S. Attorney Daniel Bromwich managing legal proceedings.
