David X. Sullivan, the United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, has announced that Jordan Flythe, also known as "T," has pleaded guilty to charges related to fentanyl and cocaine trafficking. The plea was entered before U.S. District Judge Victor A. Bolden in New Haven.

Court documents reveal that Flythe had previously been sentenced in March 2021 to 36 months for distributing fentanyl and crack cocaine. He was released from federal custody in September 2022.

In August 2024, investigations by the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Hartford Task Force and Middletown Police Department indicated that Flythe was involved in distributing fentanyl and other narcotics in Middletown. Between August and November of that year, authorities conducted multiple controlled purchases of fentanyl from him. A search of his residence on December 18, 2024, uncovered approximately 240 grams of fentanyl mixed with xylazine and other substances, along with about 160 grams of cocaine.

Flythe has admitted guilt to possession with intent to distribute over 40 grams of fentanyl and a quantity of cocaine. This offense carries a mandatory minimum prison sentence of five years and could lead to a maximum term of up to 40 years. A sentencing date is yet to be determined.

Flythe has remained detained since his arrest on March 6, 2025.

The investigation was carried out by the DEA’s Hartford Task Force alongside the Middletown Police Department and Hartford Police Department. The task force includes members from several local police departments across Connecticut.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Reed Durham is handling the prosecution.
