Carinda M. Blair, a 39-year-old resident of Omaha, Nebraska, was sentenced in federal court on June 11, 2025, for her involvement in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy. Chief United States District Court Judge Robert F. Rossiter, Jr. handed down a sentence of 78 months' imprisonment to Blair. Following her prison term, she will serve a two-year supervised release period.

Blair's conviction stemmed from her role as a local courier for a Mexico-based source of supply (SOS) of methamphetamine. She was actively distributing the SOS's methamphetamine across Nebraska and Iowa.

The investigation into Blair's activities began on August 17, 2023, when surveillance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Drug Enforcement Administration observed what appeared to be a drug transaction at her Omaha apartment. A subsequent search warrant executed on the SOS's phone number revealed messages confirming that Blair had orchestrated the drug deal with the SOS. The communications further showed that since March 2023, Blair had been regularly purchasing ounces of methamphetamine from the SOS on a weekly basis.

This case was jointly investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
