A Curwensville, Pennsylvania resident has admitted guilt in a federal court for violating narcotics laws. The announcement was made by Acting United States Attorney Troy Rivetti.
Jason Lentz, aged 31, entered a guilty plea to Count One of the Indictment before United States District Judge Stephanie L. Haines on June 17, 2025.
The court was informed that around January 2024, within the Western District of Pennsylvania, Lentz had possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.
Judge Haines has set the sentencing date for October 14, 2025. The law stipulates a sentence ranging from a minimum of ten years to life imprisonment and/or a fine up to $10 million. The actual sentence will depend on the severity of the offense and any prior criminal history of the defendant as per federal Sentencing Guidelines.

The investigation leading to Lentz's prosecution was conducted by the Pennsylvania State Police, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and Drug Enforcement Administration.
