A Kansas resident has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for charges related to child sexual abuse materials. Chloe Wade Gullotto, aged 25 and from Leavenworth, pled guilty to one count of production of child pornography and one count of receipt of child pornography, as revealed by court documents.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) received a series of CyberTips between September 2023 and November 2023 concerning images and videos linked to a cloud account owned by Gullotto. During an interview with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Gullotto admitted to using a cellphone to download and create CSAM images.

The FBI conducted the investigation into the case, which was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Audrey McCormick.

This case is part of Project Safe Childhood, an initiative launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice aimed at combating child sexual exploitation and abuse. The project is led by U.S. Attorneys’ Offices and CEOS, coordinating federal, state, and local resources to locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who exploit children online while also identifying and rescuing victims.
