U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Chairman John Boozman has released an updated text for the committee’s budget reconciliation package. In a statement, Boozman expressed pride in the legislation crafted to reflect Senate Republican policy priorities.
The package aims to improve the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) by reducing waste, enhancing accountability, and encouraging recipients toward self-reliance through work and training.
