Pennsylvania man sentenced to 20 years for child pornography receipt

U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced that Dylan C. Irvin, a 26-year-old resident of Bradford, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for receipt of child pornography. U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara also imposed a 10-year supervised release following the prison term.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Aaron J. Mango, who managed the case, explained that Irvin engaged in sexual activity with a 13-year-old girl around June or July 2023. He recorded the encounter using his cell phone and later received the video on a Snapchat account he controlled. Irvin was arrested on March 5, 2024, on state charges related to this incident, leading to the seizure of his cell phone. A search revealed the video involving him and the victim.

The investigation was conducted by several law enforcement agencies including the Federal Bureau of Investigation under Acting Special Agent-in-Charge Mark Grimm, New York State Police led by Major Amie Feroleto, and Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office directed by Sheriff Eric Butler.
