The bill aims to provide tax relief for American workers and businesses, support domestic production, and foster economic growth.

During the tour, Chavez-DeRemer emphasized the administration's commitment to unlocking new investments and strengthening the workforce. "From Montana to Louisiana, I've heard directly from workers, small business owners, and community leaders who are ready for an economic comeback," she stated. She highlighted that the bill will offer tax relief and regulatory certainty needed by job creators while empowering American workers with opportunities.

In Bozeman, Montana, she visited Schnee, a company known for its American-made outdoor gear. Discussions focused on how the bill could sustain jobs and boost rural economies. In Belgrade, at TowHaul Corp., Chavez-DeRemer stressed the importance of maintaining high standards in American manufacturing and mining.

In Santa Fe, New Mexico, Chavez-DeRemer addressed the Western Governors’ Association about reversing offshoring trends by securing new investments and bringing jobs back to America. She also visited Santa Fe Community College to learn about their technical training programs supported by expanded Pell Grants under the bill.

In Kansas City, she met with local police officers to discuss challenges faced by law enforcement families. At Waller Truck Co. Inc., discussions revolved around workforce needs and transportation challenges crucial for keeping goods moving across America.

While in New Orleans, Louisiana, Chavez-DeRemer addressed the National Maritime Safety Association on promoting worker safety in the maritime industry. She also toured the Port of New Orleans and met with local shrimpers concerned about unregulated imports affecting their industry.
