Lamont Langston, a 44-year-old resident of the District of Columbia, has been sentenced to 138 months in federal prison. This sentence follows his involvement in supplying and coordinating the distribution of over two kilograms of PCP to undercover officers. Additionally, Langston was found in possession of firearms, including a Glock with a machine gun conversion switch and an AK-style Draco semiautomatic pistol. The sentencing was announced by U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro.
Langston pleaded guilty on December 19, 2024, before Judge Dabney L. Friedrich to charges of possession with intent to distribute one kilo of phencyclidine (PCP) and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. Alongside the prison term, Judge Friedrich ordered Langston to serve five years under supervised release.
Court documents revealed that from November through late February 2024, Langston procured PCP for the conspiracy. His co-conspirator Jamar Bennett sold wholesale quantities of PCP on nine occasions to undercover officers using water or juice bottles.
The PCP was often stored at Kelvin Sanker Jr.'s home. Sanker was sentenced on January 30, 2025, to 65 months in prison for his role in the trafficking operation. Bennett received a sentence on January 15, 2025, amounting to 121 months for conspiracy to distribute one kilogram or more of PCP and being a felon in possession of a firearm. Norman Morris was convicted on June 4, 2025, for conspiracy related charges and is scheduled for sentencing on October 24, 2025.
Langston's role extended beyond supply; he acted as an organizer and leader within the conspiracy network. He directed others regarding preparation and distribution tasks related to PCP.
On February 25, 2024, while meeting with another conspirator at the location on the block of NE Street identified as "300 block," Langston fled upon seeing an MPD police cruiser approaching but discarded his loaded Glock Model handgun equipped with a machine gun conversion device during escape efforts—he was captured after extensive search operations involving K9 units alongside helicopter support from law enforcement authorities recovered additional evidence including another loaded firearm plus cash alongside drug paraphernalia found near where apprehended less than two days later
