Pearl River man sentenced to 37 months for habitual domestic violence

A Pearl River Community man has been sentenced to 37 months in prison for habitual domestic violence. Court documents reveal that Eric Shane Dan, aged 48, struck his spouse with his fist, resulting in a facial laceration that required medical attention. This incident follows two prior convictions of domestic assault against Dan.

The announcement was made by Acting U.S. Attorney Patrick A. Lemon of the Southern District of Mississippi and Special Agent in Charge Robert Eikhoff of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The investigation was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Choctaw Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Bert Carraway prosecuted the case.
