Andrew Frank Lerblance, a 66-year-old resident of Checotah, Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to distributing methamphetamine. The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced the plea. Lerblance was charged with knowingly and intentionally distributing 50 grams or more of methamphetamine on October 3, 2023.
The charge against Lerblance carries a potential sentence ranging from five to forty years in prison and a fine of up to $5 million. The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Jason A. Robertson accepted Lerblance's guilty plea in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. Following this, a presentence investigation report was ordered.
The final sentence will be determined by a U.S. District Court Judge after reviewing the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines along with other statutory factors. Until sentencing, Lerblance remains in custody under the supervision of the United States Marshals Service.
