Senate HELP Committee to discuss health care future and privacy protection

The Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee is scheduled to hold a hearing on July 9 to discuss the future of health care and strategies for improving cybersecurity to protect Americans' health privacy. This session will follow the Committee's vote on Susan Monarez's nomination as Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The hearing titled "Securing the Future of Health Care: Enhancing Cybersecurity and Protecting Americans’ Privacy" is set for Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM ET/9:00 AM CT. It will take place at the Dirksen Senate Office Building in room 430. The event can be watched live online.
