Arlington, Va. – The Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) has expressed approval for the Trump Administration's focus on strategic investments in national security, missile defense, and air traffic modernization.
Eric Fanning, AIA’s President and CEO, stated, “Prioritizing research and development, manufacturing, defense and aviation systems strengthens national security while fueling American innovation, workforce development, and global leadership.” He added that these efforts are enhanced by policies such as the R&D tax credit and full capital expensing. Fanning also highlighted significant investments in NASA’s exploration missions and the modernization of air traffic control infrastructure as crucial components of this strategy.
The AIA commended both the Administration and Congress for their role in addressing these needs. According to Fanning, this approach is driving progress toward a future that is safer, more resilient, and competitive for the nation.
