YoCrunch products recalled due to potential plastic contamination

ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

Danone U.S. has announced a voluntary recall of its YoCrunch products sold nationwide due to the potential presence of plastic pieces in the dome topper. The issue, which could pose a choking hazard, affects only the separately packaged toppers and not the yogurt itself.

Consumer complaints have highlighted the presence of transparent plastic pieces with sharp edges, measuring between 7 and 25 mm in length. The recall began on July 11, 2025, in cooperation with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Danone U.S. is collaborating with retail partners to remove affected products from shelves while working to resolve the issue.

The company emphasizes its commitment to product quality and consumer safety by initiating this recall. Consumers who purchased these products are advised not to consume them and can contact the YoCrunch Consumer Care Line at 1-877-344-4886 for refund information.
