The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma has announced the sentencing of three individuals from Fort Towson, Oklahoma, involved in a 2020 double homicide. The federal district court handed down sentences to Ashlie Nicole Rose Martin, Chad Jon’Dale Voyles, and Bryson Noel Miller for their roles in the crime.
Ashlie Nicole Rose Martin, aged 22, received a sentence of 456 months in prison for conspiracy to commit murder. Chad Jon’Dale Voyles, aged 23, was sentenced to 420 months for murder in Indian Country. Bryson Noel Miller, aged 19, was sentenced to 300 months for murder in Indian Country.
The investigation into the case was conducted by several agencies including the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI), the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP), and the Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office.
According to investigators' reports, on December 22, 2020, Martin recruited Voyles and Miller to murder her parents. On that night, Martin allowed them entry into her house through a rear window. The two found Martin's mother asleep on a couch and killed her before burying her body in a shallow grave in the backyard. Afterward, they cleaned up and disposed of evidence related to the crime.
Later that night as plans were made to flee by Martin while Voyles and Miller awaited her father's arrival at home. Upon his arrival at his residence he was ambushed by Voyles who fired an arrow at him but missed leading eventually into struggle between both men which ended when intervened with dumbbell strike from miller rendering incapacitated; subsequently dousing gasoline setting ablaze both man & house.
