MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma reported that Cody Michael DeGraw, 30, from Coweta, Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to possessing material related to child sexual exploitation. This offense could result in a prison sentence of up to 20 years and a fine of $250,000.
The indictment stated that between December 20, 2023, and February 27, 2025, DeGraw knowingly had visual depictions of minors involved in sexually explicit activities with the intent to view them.
This case stemmed from an investigation conducted by the Department of Homeland Security's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
U.S. Magistrate Judge Jason A. Robertson accepted the plea in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma and ordered a presentence investigation report.
A U.S. District Court Judge will later decide on DeGraw's sentence after reviewing the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other relevant factors.
DeGraw is currently held by the United States Marshals while awaiting sentencing.
