Arlington, Va – The House Appropriations Committee has moved forward with legislation to provide funding for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and other key agencies. This decision was met with approval from Eric Fanning, President and CEO of the Aerospace Industries Association.
Fanning expressed support for the committee's actions, stating, “Investing boldly in aviation safety, air traffic control modernization, research and development, and more will ensure we maintain our position as the global gold standard for aviation and the leader in innovation. This legislation will do just that.” He further acknowledged the importance of increased funding for the FAA over Fiscal Year 2025 due to emerging technology and rising demand.
The Aerospace Industries Association looks forward to seeing this bill progress on the House floor.
