A federal inmate in Beaumont, Texas, has received an additional sentence for drug trafficking offenses. Acting U.S. Attorney Jay R. Combs announced that Kerry Wayne Feaster, 49, was sentenced to 63 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
U.S. District Judge Marcia A. Crone delivered the sentence on July 21, 2025. The court heard that on August 14, 2024, a correctional officer at the federal prison discovered a black package containing 52.488 grams of methamphetamine in Feaster's gym bag during a search.
The FBI investigated the case, and it was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Rachel Grove.
