House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, along with House Administration Committee Chairman Bryan Steil and Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman James Comer, has issued a subpoena to Regina Wallace-Jones, CEO of ActBlue. This action is part of an ongoing investigation into the fundraising platform.

The subpoena comes after allegations that online fundraising platforms may have accepted fraudulent donations from both domestic and foreign sources. The Committees are conducting oversight to potentially inform legislative reforms in response to these allegations.

In the cover letter accompanying the subpoena, it was noted: "In light of allegations that online fundraising platforms that serve as conduits for political donations have accepted fraudulent donations from domestic and foreign sources, the Committees are conducting oversight to inform potential legislative reforms."

The letter also stated: "Although ActBlue initially provided documents voluntarily, it has since suspended its cooperation with the Committees. Therefore, the Judiciary Committee must resort to compulsory process to obtain the requested materials."

The full content of the subpoena cover letter is available for public viewing.
