Ernst announces EPA's Zeldin as speaker at Entrepreneur Expo

U.S. Senator Joni Ernst, chair of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, has announced that Lee Zeldin, Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), will be a featured speaker at her upcoming Entrepreneur Expo. The event is scheduled for August 12 at Iowa State University.

The Entrepreneur Expo, now in its third year, offers Iowa small businesses a unique opportunity to explore federal marketplace opportunities through networking and practical instruction.

“Administrator Zeldin has been a champion for small businesses in Washington," said Ernst. "His work has empowered entrepreneurs to spend less time on paperwork and more time serving their customers. His expertise will be invaluable to expo attendees."

Zeldin expressed his enthusiasm about participating in the event, saying, “Senator Ernst is a fierce advocate for Iowa small business owners and farmers. EPA’s goal is to make it easier for American businesses to prosper.”

The expo will also feature Kelly Loeffler, Administrator of the Small Business Administration (SBA), as a speaker. In previous years, the event connected numerous federal and state entities with small businesses seeking opportunities in federal contracting and innovation programs.
