Second Century Ventures announces nine companies for 2025 REACH Commercial program

Second Century Ventures, the investment branch of the National Association of Realtors, has announced the selection of nine companies for its 2025 REACH Commercial program. This initiative aims to scale solutions in commercial real estate and is now in its seventh year since launching in 2019.

The chosen companies provide a variety of solutions including workflow management, property ownership, investment strategies, digital sales and leasing, carbon reduction, and building operations. Collectively, these startups have secured over $35 million in funding and employ more than 100 people globally.

Dave Garland, managing partner at Second Century Ventures, commented on the selected companies: "The companies selected for this year's REACH Commercial program are driving innovation across the commercial real estate ecosystem. For the first time, the 2025 cohort also includes construction technology solutions."

The companies participating in this year's program include:

- 1031 Specialists: Experts facilitating nationwide 1031 exchanges.

- BreatheEV: A platform enabling EV drivers to reserve charging spots.

- Caltana: An AI-powered platform automating pricing and analytics for commercial real estate.

- Connexus: An end-to-end procurement platform streamlining vendor management.

- Forty5Park: A valuation and underwriting platform supporting investment and asset management.

- Packsmith: A logistics platform transforming suburban properties into distribution hubs.

- PredictAP: An AI-powered solution automating invoice ingestion for real estate accounts payable.

- REKalibrate: An AI-driven customer data platform converting tenant data into actionable insights.

- Verv Energy: A hardware and software solution capturing HVACR data for energy cost reduction.

Bob Gillespie, managing partner of REACH Commercial, noted the impact of these innovations on industry challenges such as carbon emissions reduction and advancements in AI.
