Today, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a statement regarding recent arrests made by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The arrests targeted individuals described as some of the most dangerous criminal illegal aliens in the United States.
Secretary Noem stated, “The Biden Administration let in the WORST OF THE WORST from around the world. Thanks to President Trump, ICE is now empowered to go-after these heinous individuals—arrest them and deport them.”
Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin added, “Gang Members. Drug Traffickers. Sexual predators. These are the types of depraved criminals our brave ICE law enforcement is arresting and removing from American communities every day.” She emphasized that under President Trump and Secretary Noem's leadership, there will be no tolerance for criminal illegal aliens in American communities.
Among those arrested was Rigoberto Sanchez-Paz, a 26-year-old MS-13 gang member from Honduras with a history of vehicle theft and firearm possession convictions in Los Angeles, California.
David Gonzalez, a 43-year-old from Mexico with a manslaughter conviction in Kings County, New York, was apprehended by ICE Buffalo.
In Los Angeles, Jose Andres Valencia-Hernandez from Colombia was arrested for drug-related offenses on vessels in El Paso, Texas.
Mahamat Rozi from Chad was detained by ICE Salt Lake City; his record includes multiple convictions such as weapon possession and assault charges in Utah.
Antonio Conejo-Arredondo from Mexico was arrested by ICE San Francisco for an offense involving oral copulation with an intoxicated victim in Riverside, California.
