Arlington, Va – Eric Fanning, President and CEO of the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA), has expressed approval for the Senate Appropriations Committee's decision to advance the fiscal year 2026 Commerce-Justice-Science bill. This bill allocates funding for agencies such as NASA and NOAA.
“This legislation is essential to strengthening U.S. space leadership, driving innovation at NASA and NOAA, and enhancing orbital safety,” Fanning stated. He further acknowledged the efforts of subcommittee Chairman Moran, Ranking Member Van Hollen, Committee Chair Collins, and Vice Chair Murray for their dedication to bipartisan appropriations. The AIA is eager to collaborate with Congress as the bill progresses.
