On Thursday, July 24, the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee will hold a vote on several key nominations. These include appointments for the Department of Labor, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Education, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission.
The agenda includes the nomination of David Castillo as Chief Financial Officer for the Department of Labor and Brian Christine as Assistant Secretary for Health at the Department of Health and Human Services. Brittany Panuccio is nominated to serve as a Member of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Jonathan Snare is up for consideration as a Member of the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission. The nominations also include David Barker as Assistant Secretary for Postsecondary Education and Mary Christina Riley as Assistant Secretary for Legislative and Congressional Affairs at the Department of Education.
