Antonni Flores, 29, has been sentenced to 42 months in prison for committing two burglaries at the same business within a day. U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro announced the sentencing following Flores' conviction by a jury on April 28, 2025, in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. He was found guilty of two counts of second-degree burglary.

Superior Court Judge Deborah Israel handed down the sentence on July 18, 2025. Flores will serve 42 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release for each count concurrently.

The incidents occurred on July 26, 2024. According to evidence presented by the government, Flores broke into a local business early in the morning and stole food, money, and various items. Less than a day later, he returned with an accomplice and stole a large screen TV. The burglar alarm was triggered during this second break-in, leading to his arrest by a Metropolitan Police Department officer who saw him walking shirtless with the stolen TV.

Chief Pamela Smith of the Metropolitan Police Department joined U.S. Attorney Pirro in announcing the sentencing. They praised those involved in investigating and prosecuting the case from both the Metropolitan Police Department and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Mikéla Cuffy and Michael Dal Lago were acknowledged for their work in prosecuting the case.
