The U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry has advanced the nominations of Michael Boren for Under Secretary of Agriculture for Natural Resources and Environment, and Richard Fordyce for Under Secretary of Agriculture for Farm Production and Conservation. The committee is chaired by Senator John Boozman (R-AR).
“I’m proud to support the nominations of Michael Boren and Richard Fordyce to key leadership positions at USDA. Their guidance will be essential to advancing President Trump's priorities and championing American agriculture. I look forward to confirming these nominees on the Senate floor,” Chairman Boozman said.
With this advancement, both nominations will move forward to the full Senate for further consideration.
