In a post published at 07:10 AM EST, Trump quoted former NBC journalist Chuck Todd: “I don’t think we’ve had anybody with this much impact on the Country since FDR.” Chuck Todd, formerly of NBC FAKE NEWS, in an interview with journalist David Brody. At 09:44 AM EST the same day, Trump criticized Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell’s approach to interest rates and referenced Steven Mnuchin’s role in Powell’s appointment: Jerome “Too Late” Powell must NOW lower the rate. Steve “Manouychin” really gave me a “beauty”when he pushed this loser. The damage he has done by always being Too Late is incalculable. Fortunately, the economy is sooo good that (August 12, 2025).

Chuck Todd is a well-known political commentator who previously hosted NBC's "Meet the Press." The Kennedy Center Honors are annual awards presented by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts to recognize lifetime contributions to American culture through performing arts. Jerome Powell was appointed as Chair of the Federal Reserve during Trump's presidency; Steven Mnuchin served as Treasury Secretary from 2017 to 2021 and played a significant role in recommending Powell for his current position.
